Government Libraries Section AGM

The Annual General Meeting of the Government Libraries Section of the LAI will take place on Wednesday, 22nd June 2011, at 10.30am in the offices of the Food Safety Authority on Lower Abbey Street, Dublin 1.

Following the AGM, Anne Wilkinson of the Marine Institute will give a presentation on the Institute’s new Open Access Repository (http://oar.marine.ie).

After the meeting, we will adjourn to Le Bon Crubeen on Talbot Street for lunch.

The Government Libraries Section of the Library Association of Ireland is 25 years old this year! To celebrate we are having a get together of members past and present. Venue: Trinity Capital Hotel, Pearse St., Dublin 2 Date: Friday, 25 March 2011 Time: 6pm There will be a drinks reception and finger food.     GLS AGM: Wednesday 8 September

    The Government Libraries Section Annual General Meeting will take place at 3pm on Wednesday September 8th, in the Refugee Documentation Centre, 1st Floor, Montague Court, 7-11 Montage Street, Dublin 2. The AGM will be followed by a wine reception.

    All members are welcome and are encouraged to volunteer to serve a term as an officer, as the positions of Chair, Secretary and Treasurer are all up for renewal.

    Please confirm your attendance by Friday 3rd September to Zoe Melling (zxmelling@legalaidboard.ie) or Conor McCabe (conor.mccabe@dppireland.ie).

    An agenda will be emailed to members in advance of the AGM.
