The disciplines of Science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics (STEAM) play a key role in the sustained growth and stability of the economy
Irish Public Libraries are in a unique position to act as a community hub and to coordinate and promote STEAM activities. The National Council for Curriculum
and Assessment (NCCA) has emphasised the importance of STEAM at both primary and secondary level.
With this in mind, the Youth Library Group have organised a 2 day seminar on the theme of STEAM, bringing together frontline staff to learn about and share
information on this topic.
Running at County Library, Library Square, Tallaght, Dublin 24 on Tuesday 23rd and Wednesday 24th May 2017.
