'The REAL Science of the Circus' performed by James Soper.

James Soper was a professional Circus Performer, is a qualified teacher and brings a truly unique show to Nenagh Library. The show will last for almost an hour. It covers 13 years of curriculum physics and concentrates on Forces.
Specifically each show examines gravity and magnetism, simple forces (pushes pulls and twists), forces coming in pairs and balanced/unbalanced forces (or Newton's three laws of motion depending on age), balancing objects and gyroscopic stability. The show uses presenter demonstrations of some high quality circus skills, a multimedia presentation to reinforce the learning and lots of volunteer help.
