The Western Regional Section will host their AGM & networking morning on 14th December 2015, 11am- 12.30pm, in the Marine Institute, Oranmore, Co. Galway.
Exciting news, for our AGM and networking morning!
For the first time, WRSLAI will host two remote meeting venues in Dublin and Limerick. Both sites will attend the meeting through video conferencing.
Caroline Rowan will host one venue in St. Michael’s Hospital, Dun Laoghaire and Michelle Breen will host a second venue in the University of Limerick.
Therefore attendees who cannot make it to Galway can attend the meeting in Dublin or Limerick. We are hoping to facilitate all and especially any Rudaí 23 participants who would like to attend the AGM and networking morning, but cannot make it to Galway.
WRSLAI are mindful that due to time and budget constraints it is not always possible to travel for an LAI event and we hope to be as inclusive as possible- with our primary and remote locations covering the West, South and East of the country. If any party in the North would like to link in, please contact us at Westernlibraries@gmail.com.
WRSLAI business will be discussed and committee members elected.
Please, if you are interested in joining our vibrant, active group, let us know. Importantly, Niamh O'Donovan will present an update and synopsis on Rudaí 23, followed by a whole group discussion.
If you would like to attend please email us on email@example.com. Please also email if you would like to attend in Dun Laoghaire or Limerick and we will put you in contact with Caroline or Michelle.
This is an exciting new development and pilot for an LAI AGM, so give us your support and be a part of something new.
Expect some tea, coffee and festive treats. Christmas jumpers/Santa hats are optional attire.
