In the second of a series of online ‘conference’ sessions, presented by the Library Association of Ireland (LAI) Public Libraries’ Section, Joanne Sweeney talks on the role of social media for libraries in a COVID-19 world.
Joanne Sweeney has been working in the field of communication for 20 years. She is a trained journalist, PR practitioner , digital marketing trainer and consultant. She specialises in digital communications for government agencies. Her latest book “Public Sector Marketing Pro” was named in the best new PR Books of 2020 by Book Authority. She is also a trainer for Google’s Digital Academy. Joanne is also a podcaster and vlogger and host of the Public Sector Marketing Show. Her blogs have featured on Social Media Examiner. She holds 11 academic and professional qualifications including a Master’s Degree in Journalism and a Master’s Degree in Digital Marketing.
